Traffic Violations:
It is crucial to note that if any traffic violations are issued against the rented vehicle during the rental period, it is the renter is direct responsibility to pay them. These fines will not be deducted from the security deposit. If the renter refuses to pay, the company reserves the right to terminate the contract, reclaim the vehicle, and charge the renter any related expenses (e.g., vehicle collection, towing, spare key, etc.)
Rental End and Vehicle Return:
Upon vehicle return, the renter must pay any outstanding charges (if any) incurred up to the date and time of return promptly. These charges, which include additional rental days, fines, Salik toll charges, repair costs, etc., will not be deducted from the security deposit, which only covers pending traffic violations that may take time to appear in the electronic traffic violation system.
Black Points and Traffic Center Visits:
For violations that incur black points or require a visit to a traffic center, the renter must handle this personally, either through the MOI app (for residents) or by visiting the relevant traffic center (for non-residents). Otherwise, a service fee will be charged (AED 300 for Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman; AED 500 for other emirates).
Impound Fees:
Suppose the renter incurs violations leading to impound fees. In that case, they must pay these fees to the company, which will handle the subsequent procedures, or the renter can pay directly to the relevant authority.
Roadside Assistance:
The company provides roadside assistance for technical, mechanical, and electrical faults not caused by the renter. If the fault is due to the renter is actions, they will bear the related costs.
Tire Issues:
The company is not responsible for tire issues if the vehicle has been with the renter for over three days. The renter must change the tire with the spare or contact mobile repair services at their own cost.
Tire Maintenance:
The company is responsible for tire maintenance. If tires need replacement during the rental, the company must be notified and will provide a replacement vehicle. If the renter causes tire damage, they must cover the replacement cost.
Battery Issues:
The company will handle battery replacements unless the renter causes the battery issue (e.g., leaving the lights on), in which case a fee will be charged.
Security Deposit Refund:
Suppose the renter pays the security deposit in cash and leaves the country. Upon vehicle return, the deposit can be refunded via bank transfer (local or international) or cash, with a hold placed on the renter is card.
Delivery and Collection Service:
Delivery and collection are provided once per rental. The renter will incur additional fees if they wish to change the vehicle without a mechanical, electrical, or technical reason.
Rental Extension Notification:
The company will notify the renter three days before the end of the rental period. If an extension is desired, the fee must be paid within these three days; otherwise, the vehicle will be reclaimed.
Booking Confirmation:
To confirm a booking, the renter must pay AED 500 or the total rental amount. If the renter cancels for reasons unrelated to vehicle issues, the booking fee is non-refundable, or AED 500 will be deducted from the rental amount.
Unavailable Vehicle:
Suppose the reserved vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., accident, previous renter refusal, mechanical failure). In that case, the company will refund the booking fee or offer an alternative vehicle, with any price difference agreed upon by the renter.
Toll Charges:
The renter is responsible for Salik toll charges in Dubai and Darb toll charges in Abu Dhabi during the rental period, which are not included in the rental fee. The company will provide a toll usage report for payment.
Parking Fees:
The renter is responsible for any parking fees incurred at the delivery or collection site.
Fuel Policy:
The vehicle is provided with a specified fuel level, and the renter must return it with the same level. Any discrepancy will result in a fuel charge.
Vehicle Documentation:
Upon vehicle delivery, both parties will document the vehicle is condition via photos or video, which will be shared and used for reference at the end of the rental period.
Smoking Prohibition:
Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited, with a fine of AED 700 for violations.
Key Issues:
If the key is locked inside the vehicle, a service fee of AED 200 will be charged for unlocking. Lost keys must be replaced at the renter is expense.
Accidents:
If the renter is at fault, they must pay the insurance excess, accident report fees, towing fees, and a service fee of AED 500. If the renter is not at fault, only the service fee of AED 500 is required.
Impound Situations:
If the vehicle is impounded due to the renter is actions, they are responsible for all associated costs.
Early Return:
Refunds are only provided for early return of the vehicle within the rental period.
Monthly Rental:
Monthly rentals are calculated for 30 days. Additional days are charged at the daily rate. If applicable, early returns within a monthly rental period will be recalculated at the daily rate, plus delivery and collection fees.
Mileage Limits:
Mileage limits are specified in the rental agreement. Exceeding these limits will incur additional charges.
Rental Agreement Validity:
The rental agreement remains in effect until the vehicle is returned and the key is handed over to a company representative.
Prohibited Activities:
Off-road driving and leaving the country with the vehicle without prior approval and documentation from the company are prohibited.
Prohibited Cargo:
Transporting items that could damage the vehicle is not permitted. Charges will be applied for any damage caused.
Flood and Off-road Damage:
The renter is liable for damage from driving in floods, on beaches, desert terrains, or rocky areas.
License Plate Replacement:
The renter is responsible for replacing lost license plates.
Insurance Exclusions:
Insurance does not cover unreported damages. The renter is liable for all such costs.
Unauthorized Repairs:
The renter must only make repairs or modifications with the company is written consent.
Special Cleaning Fees:
Additional fees will be charged if the vehicle requires special cleaning.
Personal Belongings:
The company is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle after return.
Operational Hours:
Vehicle delivery and collection are available from 10 AM to 10 PM, with at least 24 hours notice required.
Scheduled Maintenance:
Scheduled maintenance is required every 10,000 km. The renter must notify the company two days in advance. Failure to do so, resulting in damage, will incur repair costs and rental fees for the downtime.
Legal Disputes:
The company may use the security deposit to cover legal expenses in case of legal disputes.
Online Bookings:
The person booking online must be present for vehicle delivery with their documents. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting the booking fee and additional charges for delivery and collection.
